We believe that every soul deserves the chance to rise no matter where they come from, what they’ve been through, or how many times life has knocked them down. At Moah's Ark Agape Life Center, our purpose is to be a safe harbor and a launching place for community empowerment. This sacred space allows individuals and families to find healing, hope, and holistic empowerment through Jesus Christ.
This is more than community outreach; it’s about building a spiritual ark—like Noah in the Bible—that preserves purpose in the middle of life’s storms. Whether someone is seeking job training, emotional restoration, or simply a place to feel seen and loved, they can find refuge here.
💬 "The Ark was a place of refuge in a time of judgment. That’s what we are—a sanctuary in a storm, a place to be restored and reimagined." — Pastor Dawn Sanders, Founder
The name “Moah’s Ark” was prayerfully chosen to honor my beloved great-grandmother, Emma Courtney. She was a woman of quiet strength and unwavering faith, the kind of matriarch whose presence carried peace, wisdom, and grace. Grandma Moore (Moah) raised generations with love and prayer, teaching us how to serve others with dignity, endure hardship with hope, and honor God in all things. Though she never sought recognition, her life was a living sermon.
When I became a grandmother, I felt a divine call to carry her legacy forward. That’s when the Lord gave me the name “Moah,” a sacred nickname that now holds generational weight. “Moah” is more than a name; it is a mantle representing covering, preservation, and covenant. Just as Noah’s Ark preserved life during the storm, this ministry, Moah’s Ark Agape Life Center, exists to preserve dreams, identity, and purpose for those weathering life’s floods.
Moah’s Ark Agape Life Center stands as a spiritual tribute to Emma Courtney’s faith and love, embodying community empowerment. The heart of this ministry mirrors the heart of a woman who opened her home, embraced the forgotten, and prayed without ceasing. Now, we open our doors to a community in need, offering the same kind of refuge and revival that she gave us, fostering spiritual growth along the way.
